1. Acceptance
By using iKasa you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please stop using the service.
2. Service description
iKasa offers end-to-end encrypted personal finance and notes for iPhone, with a Web companion at ikasa.me.
3. Account & responsibility
You are responsible for safeguarding your email password and your 12-word recovery phrase. Due to E2E encryption, we cannot recover your data if both are lost.
You may not use your account for commercial, illegal, harassing, or service-disruptive purposes.
4. No abuse
You agree not to:
- Attempt to break, reverse-engineer, or attack the server or other accounts
- Upload malware, illegal, or infringing content
- Conduct DoS/DDoS or resource abuse via API
- Impersonate someone else or sign up with another's email
5. Free / paid
Today, all core features (tracking, monthly reports, notes, reminders, encrypted sync) are free forever. A future Pro tier (multi-ledger, team) may be offered as an opt-in subscription without affecting existing free features.
6. Intellectual property
The iKasa name, logo, design, and code belong to the iKasa team. You retain full ownership of your own data (entries, notes) — we cannot see it and claim no rights to it.
7. Disclaimer
iKasa is provided AS-IS. We make no absolute warranty of availability or continuity. Please export CSV regularly as a local backup. Liability for service interruption or data loss (including unrecoverable loss from forgotten passwords) is limited to the amount you paid at registration (i.e., zero).
8. Termination
You may delete your account anytime to stop using the service. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms; affected data is purged within 7 days.
9. Governing law / contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Disputes are first resolved by good-faith discussion; if not, by Tokyo Summary Court. Questions:
